Geraldine Sealey is the managing editor. Previously, she was the features editor. Since joining the newsroom in 2017, she has edited projects that have run with NPR, The Atlantic, Frontline (PBS), New York, The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Washington Post and many other outlets. She has collaborated on work that was a Pulitzer Prize Finalist in National Reporting in 2022 and won the Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting in 2021. Her work has also been recognized with several National Magazine Awards and nominations, a Peabody award and nomination, multiple Edward R. Murrow awards, and several Online Journalism Awards, among others. She is a graduate of the Executive Program in News Innovation and Leadership at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism. She grew up in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
