I oversee our product team, which is responsible for improving reader experience, managing our brand identity and building tools so that the organization can scale.
My Background
I'm a product leader, designer, writer and educator based in Philadelphia.
I write a newsletter about finding a more human side of the internet called Escape the Algorithm, and I teach a class with the same name at University of Pennsylvania’s engineering school. I was part of the team behind The Marshall Project’s 2021 Pulitzer Prize-winning investigation into police dog bites, and was named one of the people “quietly keeping the spirit of the human, personal, creative internet alive” by Anil Dash in Rolling Stone. Before The Marshall Project, I was the design director of R&D at Quartz.
