I help guide visual storytelling at The Marshall Project, through commissioning and editing photos, illustrations, animations and videos.
My Background
I am a second-generation Chinese American editor. I was on the Marshall Project team that won a 2021 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting for “Mauled: When Police Dogs are Weapons,” and my work as a visuals editor has been recognized by Pictures of the Year International, NPPA's Best of Photojournalism, the Society for News Design, the Society of Publication Designers, the Communication Arts Awards, American Photography, American Illustration and the World Illustration Awards.
