I coordinate the development of editorial and digital products that help improve user experience. I also lead research to ground both internal and reader-facing initiatives in people-centered, data-driven insights.
My Background
Previously, I was the Special Projects Editor at The Philadelphia Inquirer's Lenfest Local Lab, a community-centered, experimental product team, where I led strategy and research. In 2015, I founded Nueva Nación's El Tabulario, Panama's first open data repository for journalists.
Along with a small group of New York Times journalists, I was awarded a 2017 Gerald Loeb Award for graphics for an investigation into the construction of the Panama Canal’s new set of locks.
