Listen to Our First Collaboration with “This American Life”

“An Anatomy of Doubt,” a young woman’s story of rape and redemption, debuts Friday.

“An Anatomy of Doubt,” the first collaboration between The Marshall Project, ProPublica, and WBEZ Chicago’s “This American Life,” airs this weekend.

In 2008, an 18-year-old woman said she was raped at knifepoint by a stranger who broke into her home outside Seattle. No one believed her. That’s where “An Anatomy of Doubt” begins its shattering exploration of trust, fear and the power of good detective work.

The radio piece was produced along with the highly-acclaimed article, “An Unbelievable Story of Rape,” by reporters Ken Armstrong and T. Christian Miller. It received a 2015 George W. Polk award.
